WHO AM I?
Hi, I'm Cate the hands, the head, and the heart behind SKN Assembly.
I believe your skin is an organ, not an accessory. It's the largest one you've got, and it's constantly telling on you, reflecting what you eat, how you sleep, what you've been breathing in, and how kindly (or unkindly) you've been treating yourself lately. So when you come into my clinic, we're not looking at a surface-level symptom. We're looking at the whole picture.
That's where the name comes from. SKN Assembly isn't a quick fix. It's the idea that great skin is an assembly. A considered build of treatments, at-home care, internal health, and environment, all working together. One treatment rarely cuts it. The right combination, assembled around you.
What you can expect from me
Honest answers. Thorough education. A judgement-free zone where no question is too small, too awkward or too silly to ask. I'll walk you through what we're doing, how it works, and why because when you understand your skin, you make better decisions for it between visits.
I'll happily push the boundaries when your skin calls for it, and I'll pare things right back and nurse you through a rough patch when it doesn't. Sometimes skin doesn't need more it needs less, slower, and smarter.
What I love
A challenge. If your skin has been called difficult, written off, or bounced around three clinics with no improvement I want it. I'll problem-solve, research, adjust, and keep showing up until we crack it. That part of the job genuinely lights me up.
